Community Guidelines

g3t brings the same local group together regularly. A few simple actions can help every hangout feel comfortable, welcoming and safe.

  • Come to make friends. g3t is for friendship, not dating. Do not use hangouts to sell something, recruit people or collect followers.
  • Make room for everyone. Include quieter people and share the conversation. Different backgrounds, identities, accents and perspectives are part of the group.
  • Respect boundaries. No one owes you a hug, a drink, personal information, their contact details or another meeting. Ask when unsure and accept a no, a change of subject or no reply.
  • Keep contact welcome. It is fine to ask someone to meet again. If they decline or stop responding, leave it there.
  • Protect people’s privacy. Ask before taking or sharing photos and videos. Do not use what you learn through g3t to find someone’s home, workplace or private accounts.
  • Show consideration. Arrive on time, cancel as early as possible, do not bring unexpected guests and pay your own share.
  • Keep the group safe. Harassment, threats, discrimination, unwanted sexual comments or contact, violence, scams and interfering with someone’s food or drink are never okay.
  • Speak up when something feels wrong. Tell the host or email kevin@g3t.club. You can report something that happened to you or something you witnessed, and you can ask not to be placed with someone again.

You will not connect with everyone, and that is normal. Be kind, respect the boundary and move on.
